All Alone, Together

A Podcast about a Library in Lockdown

In association with the Upper Norwood Library Hub and funded by the Arts Council England.

For the past Three months Disentangle have been working closely with the Upper Norwood Library Hub to produce this brand new podcast series which collects stories straight from the people surrounding the Library Hub in Crystal Palace Triangle.

This space was not only a resource for books it was a life-line for many people in the local community. The building houses a library, a cafe, study room, venue space for hire and children's play area. In 2019 it had its best year hosting computer classes for older students, bereavement points, a new cafe, festivals, art exhibitions, children’s clubs and also a new years eve rave.

 When Covid hit and lockdown closed the building lots of the buildings community was fragmented and isolated.

 This unique insight into this community while in lockdown collects  the different voices and insights of today with the hope to inform tomorrow's actions.
